The Shawshank Redemption

This Stephen King adaptation is the most beautiful movie ever created. It's about a man who never gives up hope when it comes to justice and friendship. Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins are outstanding as well.

Memento

Nolan's first masterpiece is near perfection. Story-telling was near its finest with this non-chronological mind game. Guy Pearce leads this beautiful and original film.

Rating: *****

The Departed

The intensity in this movie is at the highest level possible all throughout the film. With a star-studded cast, including DiCaprio's best performance (in my eyes) and Damon, Nicholson, and Whalberg also giving top-notch performances.

Rating: *****

The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight shouldn't be put in the same category as Spiderman 3, The Green Lantern, or Captain America because it is not just a comic book movie. Christopher Nolan crafts another masterful screenplay supported with fabulous acting and directing.

Rating: *****

Inception

Inception is a brilliant and original movie that will eventually be called a classic. Hopefully one day, Inception will be remembered as one of the most innovative movies of all time.
